Dodgers Injury Report – 3/20/2025

As of March 20, 2025, the Los Angeles Dodgers have several players dealing with injuries:

  • Freddie Freeman (1B): Freeman was scratched from the lineup on March 18 due to left rib discomfort. He is optimistic about a quick return and is expected to participate in the upcoming Freeway Series against the Angels. ​
  • Mookie Betts (SS): Betts returned to Los Angeles from Tokyo after suffering from a severe stomach virus that led to significant weight loss. He is anticipated to recover in time for the Dodgers’ home opener on March 27. ​
  • Clayton Kershaw (LHP): Kershaw underwent surgeries on his left toe and left knee last November. He has been placed on the 60-day injured list and has resumed throwing bullpen sessions, with an expected return no earlier than June. ​
  • Tony Gonsolin (RHP): Gonsolin is dealing with back tightness and was placed on the 15-day injured list on March 18. There is no specific timeline for his return. ​
  • Brusdar Graterol (RHP): Graterol underwent right shoulder labrum surgery on November 14, 2024, and has been placed on the 60-day injured list. He is expected to be out until at least July 18. ​
  • Michael Grove (RHP): Grove recently underwent surgery on his right shoulder and will miss the entire 2025 season. ​
